Mihai Bibireata

Mihai graduated with a B.S. in Physics from UCLA in 2019 and an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Southern California in 2022. He also worked as a Research Engineer on the Image Processing R&D team at Eagleview from 2019-2021. Mihai became interested in neuroscience research through an undergraduate project studying network connectivity and its influence on network dynamics and rhythmogenesis under the guidance of Alex J. Levine. As a graduate student in the Biomolecular Science and Engineering program and the Louis Lab at UCSB, he is studying the neuronal basis for behavior in Drosophila larvae.
