We would like to congratulate Nafi for his acceptance to UChicago PhD Program. We appreciate his contribution to develop the GUI for modeling electrophysiological response of sensory neurons. We wish him the best of luck in his graduate study!

We would like to welcome a new graduate student Mihai to our lab! Mihai came from Physics and CS background and will be joining the BMSE PhD Program. We're excited to have his interdisciplinary training to tackle the research challenges brought by our beloved Drosophila larvae!

We would like to join David in celebrating this special milestone in his PhD career. His achievement is admirable given the obstacles that he had to overcome in terms of both research and non-research related challenges. We wish him the best on his new journey in the Clandinin Lab and can't wait to see the discoveries he will bring to the field!

We would like to welcome our new post-doc Nitesh Saxena. Nitesh completed his graduate work at NCBS, studying the multisensory integration underlying search behavior in the fruit flies D. melanogaster. We are excited to have his interdisciplinary expertise in the team!

Congratulations to Sophie for her acceptance to UCSD Medical School!  We're very proud of her and can't wait to see the amazing things she will do in the future!

We would like to welcome two new PhD students who will be joining us in Fall 2020! Kirstin Rollins is joining the lab after her rotation from the MCDB department, and Thuc To is a graduate student in the Dynamical Neuroscience program.
